The Australian Helicopter Industry Association (AHIA) earlier this month launched new branding and a new website.

According to AHIA, the new look and website were developed in order to "reflect AHIA's commitment to providing its members and the broader industry with a dynamic, modern, and accessible platform."

"This rebrand is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the invaluable input from our members," said AHIA CEO, Julian Fraser.

"We are thrilled to unveil this new chapter and look forward to leveraging our enhanced digital presence to better serve the needs of the Australian helicopter community.

"The launch of our new website and rebrand is a significant step forward for AHIA. As we look to the future, we are excited to continue driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and advocating for the interests of our members and the broader industry."

The new website features industry-specific resources, including news, events and policy updates. Members can also access a range of benefits, such as networking opportunities, industry advocacy initiatives, financial benefits for aviation events and special rates on company re-brand packages.

AHIA was set up in 2012 after the Helicopter Association of Australia (HAA) went defunct in 2008, and was a reaction to the death of pilot Gary Ticehurst and a film crew in an ABC helicopter crash at Lake Eyre.

The new association held its official launch at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon in 2013.
