Two of Robinson Helicopter's senior management team will visit RotorTech this year and take part in an industry forum as part of the Australian Helicopter Industry Association (AHIA) conference program.
President and CEO David Smith, and Head of Global Marketing and Communications Robyn Eagles, will engage in a moderated discussion led by Australian journalist Adam Thorn.
Local Robinson agent Heliflite has arranged the visit, which is being seen as an important step for the rotary aviation industry in Australia.
"The Heliflite team are delighted to assist David Smith and Robyn Eagles on their upcoming visit to Australia," Heliflite Sales Director Robert Bentley-Johnson told Australian Flying.
"The application of Robinson helicopters in Australia is one of the largest outside the USA and makes up more than half the Australian helicopter fleet, Robinson are fully aware of this significant fact and wish to show their support by attending Rotortech.
"David and Robyn look forward to meeting owners and operators in this important market and better understand their requirements. In conjunction with the manufacturer interview one the first day of Rotortech, they extend this opportunity to provide feedback and ideas on ways to further develop the product line to meet their needs."
The forum is expected to delve into critical issues impacting the aviation industry, with a specific focus on the future of the rotorcraft market. Key topics will likely include pilot shortages, global growth markets, and emerging technologies.
The two are also scheduled to deliver briefings on:
- advanced crewed-uncrewed teaming initiatives within civilian rotorcraft
- mission-specific applications for law enforcement, public safety and HEMS
- Robinson Helicopters' strategic approaches to enhance brand affinity and stimulate sales growth.
RotorTech runs from 4-6 June at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast. More information is on the RotorTech website.
