For the first time in the 12-year history of the CASA Wings Awards, all awards will be presented at a single ceremony at the Australian International Airshow next week.
CASA Chair Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin (Retd) will present all five recipients with their 2024 awards and citations in front of the general aviation community on the morning of Friday 28 March.
In previous years, awards have been presented at individual ceremonies spread around the country.
Australian Flying editor Kreisha Ballantyne, who will MC the ceremony, said she was pleased not only that all winners would be presented at once, but also that ACM Binskin was available to hand out the awards.

The five winners for 2024 are:
Col Pay Award for a Lifetime of Service to General Aviation: Cameron Marchant
Aero Club of the Year: Royal Aero Club of New South Wales
Flying Instructor of the Year: Jeremy Miller – UPRT Australia
Flight Training Organisation of the Year: PanAir – Bathurst
Young Achiever of the Year: Georgie Arnold
The ceremony begins at 0930 on Friday 28 March in the General Aviation Pavilion in the GA Precinct. Presentations are expected to conclude before 1100. See the air show layout map below and in the image gallery above.
