Cirrus Aircraft this week revealed their 2025 edition of the Australis G7.
The new aircraft is the third iteration of the Australis, which is an SR-series Cirrus configured specifically for Australian conditions.
“We are excited to bring the 2025 Australis Edition aircraft to Australian pilots,” said Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus. “The 2025 Australis aircraft builds on design cues from previous editions and is updated to include all the SR Series G7 features.
"Our proven SR Series offers peace of mind while traveling long distances between Australian airports with enhanced safety systems such as the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS)."
Like previous editions, the 2025 Australis is tailored for the needs of Australian pilots, with CAPS, air conditioning and UV protected windows accompanied by SR Series G7 upgrades including dual touchscreen controllers, 14” high-resolution displays and stick shakers.
The Australis also features an extensive list of accessories including all-weather floor liners with Australis motifs, sunshades and a Garmin inReach Mini with premium aviation subscriptions.
The interior features premium leather seats with Australis accents throughout and an exclusive two-tone exterior boasts the most accent color available on any SR Series aircraft. An updated topographical design on the tail and Australis badging is unique to the Australian versions.
Cirrus' SR22-series has been the most popular new aircraft in general aviation for the past 20 years, with the Duluth-based company delivering on average up to 15 times more airframes as all other GA manufacturers in the same market sector.
