Tickets for Pacific Air Show Gold Coast (PAGC) will go on sale next week after delays caused by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Alfred made landfall on the Gold Coast in early March, making significant changes to the coastline where PAGC is held, forcing organisers to delay opening ticket sales until Wednesday 30 April 2025.
"As many of you know, on 8 March Cyclone Alfred made landfall on the Gold Coast, bringing with it significant challenges for Surfers Paradise and the broader South East Queensland region," said PAGC CEO Kevin Elliott in a statement last week.
"In the weeks since, our team has been working hand-in-hand with local authorities and partners to support recovery efforts and ensure the rectification of our event space on the beach.
"While this important work has understandably caused a delay to our ticket on-sale, our priority has always been to make sure we can confidently deliver the kind of world-class experience you’ve come to expect.
"Your patience and continued support during this time have been truly appreciated."
PAGC is held annually along the Gold Coast beachfront, with flying displays generally including military aircraft from both the Royal Australian Air Force and the US Airforce, combined with some of the best civil aerobatic and formation teams in Australia.
PAGC is scheduled for 15-17 August at Surfers Paradise in south-east Queensland. As yet no announcements have been made about featured aircraft.
More information is available on the PAGC website.
