Pickles Australia will auction 56 aircraft formerly of the Soar Aviation training fleet in March this year.
The auction, slated to be done online from 15 March, comes after Soar Aviation was placed into administration late last year.
Pickles will call for expressions of interest (EOI) for the aircraft from 15 February to 5 March, with the fleet available for inspection in both Melbourne and Sydney.
The aircraft to be auctioned are:
- three Tecnam P2006Ts
- 12 Tecnam P2008s
- 19 Bristell LSAs
- two Aquila A210s
- eight Aeroprakt A32 Vixxens
- 12 x Foxbat A22Ls
- five new Rotax engines
- over $250,000 in spares
Twelve of the aircraft are registered with RAAus and the remaining 44 are on the Australian Civil Register.
Pickles Australia is selling the aircraft on behalf of the administrator KPMG and the financier. All aircraft except one will be sold with current maintenance releases. All aircraft will have reserve prices and buyers premiums will apply, and each aircraft will be auctioned separately.
Pickles will set up dedicated micro-sites for the EOI and the auction, both of which are expected to go live this Friday, 12 February.
