AOPA Executive Director Ben Morgan told Australian Flying today, "the most important outcome of this meeting is to demonstrate the effectiveness of general aviation associations working together. Many general aviation groups have felt they have lost their voice, and by in coming together as one, we will achieve so much more. Two years ago, the AOPA made a decision to make a lot of noise in defending general aviation in the wider industry. This summit, a very successful meeting with Anthony Albanese MP last week, and an unpcoming appointment with the Department of Infrastrcuture next week, demonstrate how general aviation is now reaping the benefit."
