University of NSW has added six more Diamond aircraft to their fleet, bringing the total number of Diamond Aircraft on the line to 14.
The aircraft, DA40 XLTs, were sold by local Diamond agent Utility Air and are due to delivered across 2024 and 2025.
“UNSW Aviation is delighted to continue our strong relationship with Utility Air and Diamond Aircraft Industries with the purchase of six DA40 XLT aeroplanes," said UNSW Director of Flying Operations Malcolm Good.
"A fantastic addition to our existing fleet of DA40s to enable UNSW Aviation to deliver safe and effective flying training to the next generation of aviation leaders.”

The aircraft will be hangered in Sydney and used to complement the existing eight DA40 aircraft already owned by UNSW Aviation.
As part of the deal, Utility Air will also sponsor UNSW Aviation’s Electric Vehicle Racing Development team.
