Hawker Pacific has begun the first-ever Australia-wide demonstration tour of the new Diamond DA40-XLT.
For the next three months, the aircraft will be making its way across six states and will be available for potential buyers to inspect.
Tony Jones, Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Flight Services Group, said the tour could not be more timely.
“Australia represents a solid market for Diamond’s single-engine two and four-seater variants," he said, "so you can imagine we’re excited to be debuting the XLT enhancement so soon after its release by Diamond.
“The tour is a fantastic opportunity for clients and potential buyers to come and inspect the aircraft close-up. Nothing compares to experiencing the aircraft first-hand like this, and it’s really why our demonstrations bring results. Diamond Aircraft is well known for producing tough, versatile and reliable products, and the XLT version only builds on this. I have no doubt that it will attract high levels of interest across the country.”
The DA40-XLT interior includes newly-moulded seat patterns with integrated Diamond-embossed padded headrests and improved lumbar contour in both the front and rear seats. All seats are covered with Infrared Controlled Technology (ICT) 100% genuine leather, which reflects IR rays in direct sunlight and maintains 20oC lower surface temperature than traditional leathers.
Additional design features include an increase in effective width of the front seat, Carbon Weave and Walnut Burl trim packages, an optional Rosen sunvisor system to reduce heat and glare, a molded pocket added to pilot side panel for smart phones and electronic devices, redesigned rear footwells for extra comfort, and easily removable lower seat cushions and seat back covers.
