Yrausquin Airport on the Caribbean island of Saba is officially the shortest commercial runway in the world. At a mere 400 m long, the government of the Netherlands Antilles will allow only Twin Otters and Islanders to use the airport, and they do so under exemptions. Note the white cross before the threshold that closes the runway to all other traffic. It speaks wonders for the performance of those two aeroplanes.
