The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Black Knights precision aerobatic team will perform at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon in February.
The team is a high performance unit of the RSAF flying F-16 Fighting Falcons. Its high-energy routine consists of no fewer than 18 separate rolls, passes, and loops.
The Black Knights team was formed in the early 1970s and has entertained audiences throughout South East Asia for over 40 years. Distinctly marked aircraft, with red and white stripes (Singapore’s national colours) and black chess-piece knights emblazoned on the tail, make them a highly recognisable group.
The RSAF is sending three F-16s to Avalon along with two Pilatus PC-21 trainers.
The Australian International Airshow will be staged at Avalon Airport 24 February to 1 March.
