It's not easy to make a great plane even better, but Basler has given it a go. This video shows a Basler BT-67 lining up at Calgary airport in Canada. If it looks familiar, you're right. This is a DC-3 remanufactured at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and fitted with PT-6A turbo-prop engines. Inside, the cockpits are completely refurbished and updated to the point that you wouldn't recognise them anymore. Baslers are put to work on some of the most interesting operations around the world, and in some countries are even in military service.
