FRIDAY FLYING VIDEO: Comet in Colour

In October last year we presented you with footage from 1934 as the De Havilland DH.88 Comet Grosvenor House arrived victorious in Melbourne after the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race. Remarkably, that very aeroplane is still in existence today, maintained in airworthy condition at the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden in the UK. This video shows Grosvenor House in action in 2014, and gives us an idea of what our grandparents would have seen in the sky over Melbourne 84 years ago.
