It has been said before that the only aeroplane that can replace a Caribou is another Caribou. De Havilland Canada came up with another idea: the DHC-5 Buffalo. Replacing the avgas-burning radials with turbo-prop engines, DHC created an aircraft that would do justice to the Caribou heritage. This video shows a start-up, reverse out and take-off of an Royal Canadian Air Force SAR Buffalo. There's no music, just pure aviation sound.
