Further demonstrating that the future is now, the Lift Aircraft HEXA wows the crowd at Sun n Fun 2024. The HEXA is a distributed electric propulsion aircraft that has 18 motors, is made of carbon fibre and is stable when flown in hands-off mode. Helping stability is the fact that the small rotors are the only external moving parts. It looks like great fun and presents endless possibilities.
