Reno's air races always seems to throw up some excitement and hairy moments ... and sometimes disaster. This video shows a great outcome for Race #3 Kraken this year as skill and superb reactions recover a bad situation. Struck from behind by another race plane only 100 feet above the ground, this pilot brings his aeroplane back safely. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, start at around 4:00.
