Something not seen in many parts of the world. This SAAB Draken is operated by the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight and is a rare sight outside of Europe. The SAAB 35 Draken was the first supersonic fighter deployed in western Europe and was in production from 1955 to 1974. Drakens were still in service in Sweden up until 1999. And here's a bit of trivia for you: the Draken was the first fighter to perfect the famous "Cobra" manoeuvre often attributed to Russian fighters. Some were also operated in the USA in test pilot schools and a few are now in private hands. Enjoy the sounds of this iconic relic from the Cold War.
