Advanced in materials and technology are giving the aviation world some very new designs, as proven by this video of a Horizon Cavorite X5 in the wind tunnel. Designed and built in Canada, the X5 is an eVTOL with the vertical-lift fans installed in the wings. Once airborne, fairings are closed over the fans and a pusher propeller provides forward speed. It seats four plus the pilot and is hybrid-electric powered. This is one sweet looking machine.
