Cowra's Brumby Aircraft has signed an agreement with China-based AeroJones to market and distribute the Flight Design range of light sport aircraft in Australia.
Flight Design manufactures and markets the German-designed CTLS and CTLSi composite LSAs.
Brumby Aircraft's Paul Goard told Australian Flying that he was pleased to have signed the agreement, and that the composite aircraft would complement their Brumby 600 and 610 all-metal aircraft in the Australian market.
AeroJones manufactures the CTLS from their plant in Xiamen, China, and through a partnership with Flight Design, has the distribution rights to the aircraft through the Asia-Pacific region.
Brumby Aircraft designs, builds and markets the low-wing 600 and high-wing 610 in Cowra, NSW, with component manufacturing and general assembly performed by Chinese partner companies.
They will assume the Flight Design agency from the 2019 Australian International Airshow next March.
