The Australian Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society and Australian Flying magazine have announced the make up of the judging panel for the 2014 WINGS Awards.
The eight-member panel will judge all nominations for the public award categories, with the winners to be announced in September.
The panel members are:
Geoff Breust - Deputy Chairman and Founding Member of the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame, former CEO of Rex and Kendall.
AVM Mark Skidmore (Ret'd) - Former RAAF Air Commander and currently director of Swift Aerospace
Paul Tyrrell - CEO of the Regional Aviation Association of Australia
Andrew Anderson - former President of AOPA Australia and VP of IAOPA
Marj Davis Gillespie OAM - Immediate Past President of the Royal Federation of Aero Clubs Australia
Doug Nancarrow - Editor of Aviation Business Asia Pacific and Publisher of Australian Flying
Steve Hitchen - Editor of Australian Flying
Nominations for the public categories have been kept open past the initial closing date to enable late entries to be considered. Entry details and criteria are on the Australian Flying website.
The WINGS Awards are supported by Bendix King, Flight One and FlyCirrus.
