Right on the money! In July RAAF 36 Squadron was tasked with airdropping 15 tonnes of freight to Mawson Station in Antarctica. It was a 10,000 km round-trip from Perth to Antarctica and the C-17 that did the job needed to refuel over the Southern Ocean from a KC-30 MRTT to make it happen. The final drop was bang on target with every parachute working as advertised. A great job all around.
